Bask in the olive tree grove and ask for nothing more

I wasn’t prepared to fall in love with the authenticity of North Evia, its untouched beaches dotted with natural hot springs, the rugged mountain terrain, serene streams, wonderful waterfalls, hidden lakes, and historical sites.

I found the people in Evia welcoming and warm. And so I set about building a dream home on this island.

The lush olive grove we found right on the coastline was what tipped the scales. I'm convinced its beauty is a rarity, even if we are in Greece. With heavy hearts we decided to make it our home away from home, I wish we could leave it completely untouched by we would then need to sleep in a tent and I don't believe my children would go for it. Once complete we called it the OliveTree Villa.

The lush earth in the grove produces wild baby asparagus popping out after the heavy rains.

They had a really earthy and fresh taste, not like the kind you get in the store. We wandered around the grove just picking them up from the ground, and later on dropped them into an omelet… it was the highlight of our day.
